For two years, I have partnered with the Smithsonian Latino Center's Young Ambassadors Program to host Latinx youth interested in the fields of science and education. I develop the intern program schedule, mentor our interns, and set them up with informational interviews and expose them to all areas of the Museum's operations and programs. At the end of their internship, they give a formal presentation to our Museum staff on what they learned and how they might apply it to their future careers.
