For two years, I partnered with the Smithsonian Latino Center's Young Ambassadors Program to host Latinx youth interested in the fields of science and education. I developed the intern program schedule, mentored our interns, and arranged informational interviews with Museum staff and leadership to expose them to all areas of the Museum's operations and programs. At the end of their internship, the interns delivered a formal presentation to our Museum staff on what they learned and how they might apply it to their future careers.
