I recruited Megan Flod Johnson to envision and co-develop ShadowDreamScape at Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose. We worked tirelessly with exhibit and experience design, content development, subcontracting other artists, and to ensure staff and volunteers were trained on all of the elements of both the exhibit and performance components.
Visitors explored the world of shadow, light and illusion in ShadowDreamScape, an interactive performance installation at Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose. Developed in partnership with artist Megan Flod Johnson, ShadowDreamScape was an exhibit environment exploring light and shadow through large and small scale body experiences. Visitors participated in play and performance following a dream narrative involving five characters- moth, hand, figure, rabbit and tangle. The installation offered experiences for visitors of all ages to interact with live performers and engage with shadow vignettes and exhibits.
