Role: Project Manager
I developed the program activities and managed the exhibit and staff schedule. I provided staff training and feedback and recruited volunteers and staff. I worked closely with community partners and stakeholders across San Jose and South Bay to secure visiting artists and exhibit locations. I co-created the exhibit and program concept and design with a team of artists, designers, and exhibits craftspeople.

Common Ground: A Seat at the Table debuted as a traveling creative space and has landed at the Museum as an exhibit. Children and families were invited to come together to hear, see, and share the stories of our diverse Silicon Valley community. Participants were encouraged to explore connections among food, cultural identity, and immigrant experiences through sculpture, poetry and performance, and to view works inspired by this experience. A Seat at the Table traveled around the South Bay to such sites as San Jose History Park and Martial Cottle Park, San Jose, and the School of Arts & Culture.
